Justin and Hailey Bieber Did the “Toosie Slide” With His Siblings All Wearing Drew, and Drake Approves!
April 27, 2020 at 09:37PM Justin Bieber can’t stop making TikTok videos with his wife Hailey Bieber, and we don’t want them too! The Changes singer posted an adorable video dancing to Drake’s “Toosie Slide”, and this time they had some very special guests join them. Justin’s sisters joined the dance challenge, and it was as cute as it sounds. While we know Hailey’s TikTok style has been packed with comfortable PJs and cozy-looking sweat looks, this time they all repped Justin’s clothing brand, Drew House. Hailey is constantly supporting her husband’s fashion line and it was sweet to see his siblings rep the brand as well! In the video, Hailey and Justin’s sister wore similar Drew tees, which they paired with cozy leggings. The couple later moved to the side to give the kids center stage to finish off the TikTok dance. We also particularly loved Justin’s orange tie-dye socks, which were a fun addition to his mustard yellow sweatsuit. Even Drake commented on the Instagram giving the challenge a new name because of their matching outfits calling it the “Drewsie Slide.” Keep reading to see the full video of the TikTok dance and shop similar Drew pieces if you’re feeling inspired ahead. 7 Practical Tips for Healthy Eating During Isolation
April 27, 2020 at 09:00PM 1. Prepare! Angels, we all know ourselves well enough to realise that when we’re stuck at home, and always right next to the kitchen, we’re thinking about food more and more often. If you’re anything like me, I walk between the pantry, and fridge, and back again, many times throughout the day! And that is okay! However, if you prepare for this, and acknowledge the habit, you can make sure your fridge is well stocked with fruit and vegetables, and can prep some healthy snacks in advance – for moments like these! The JSHealth App has SO many fab options to inspire you! If there are healthy options ready to go right in front of you, that’s what you’ll reach for! Whereas if there is chocolate, chips and soft drink at the ready, how can you possibly resist!? So acknowledge your own habits, and plan accordingly! 2. Work away from the kitchen! Having a separate workspace, away from the kitchen if possible, is super helpful. Being out of view of the kitchen means you’re less likely to spend hours contemplating what is hiding behind those cupboard doors, and less tempted to keep going back for more food when you aren’t even hungry. Similarly, your brain sends hunger signals when you’re in places like the kitchen, which you associate with food and eating, so if you’re working in there, chances are your body is expecting food the entire time, and you’re feeling hungry (even if you’re

In The Kitchen With Farmer, Chef + Cookbook Author Abra Berens
April 27, 2020 at 10:00AM Feels like spring. We’re sharing this ultra-inspiring story from April of last year! As city girls, we’re constantly fantasizing about a rustic life where we can grow our own food and eat with the seasons. According to our latest poll, most of our readers are dreaming about the same. Chef Abra Berens is living that life, hosting unique dinners on the idyllic Granor Farm in Michigan and we love how she’s managed to balance her passion for farming with a talent for high-quality culinary art. Abra’s ethos is simple: the meals we eat should change with the seasons and their ingredients should come from the freshest sources nearby. The talented chef and former farmer recently published her debut cookbook Ruffage: A Practical Guide To Vegetables which has us majorly hungry and inspired. Here’s what is inside the new author’s fridge… The post In The Kitchen With Farmer, Chef + Cookbook Author Abra Berens appeared first on The Chalkboard. Chanel, Louis Vuitton and Dior Among Luxury Brands Rallying for COVID-19 Fundraiser
April 27, 2020 at 08:29PM As we settle into week seven of social distancing, our eyes are glued to the news for any hint of when this pandemic may come to and end. With no definitive end in sight for us as yet here in Canada (and much of the rest of the world), brands are increasingly rallying to help support frontline healthcare workers in any way possible. Locally, a group of 20 Toronto-based designers came together to help raise money for the University Health Network this past weekend, and on a global scale, several of the world’s biggest luxury brands are now rallying for what is shaping up to be one of the most memorable auctions in fashion’s history. Run by La Mode S’Engage, the auction will support non-profit organization #ProtegeTonSoignant, which means protect your caregiver, as it sources and distributes supplies to healthcare workers in France. The auction has already drawn more than 80 brands – including Chanel, Dior, Louis Vuitton, Balenciaga, Celine and Comme des Garçons. According to Business of Fashion, “each designer will be tasked with either customizing an item from their archive or designing a new garment from scratch for the auction.” The only thing that each design must include is the signature electric blue colour of #ProtegeTonSoignant. For those designers who don’t have access to their archives/materials at home, sketches of the garment will be accepted or they can opt to offer a made-to-order piece through the auction instead. All proceeds from the auction
