April 23, 2020 at 05:04AM Here’s a shocker to no one: I’m a frequent Nordstrom shopper. During my weekly—often daily—visits to the retailer’s site to shop for products I want to feature in my stories (or even treat myself to a little wardrobe update), I’ve become well-acquainted with their wardrobe basics. So well-acquainted, I might add, that I tend to notice when the stock starts to dwindle on certain items or when they sell out entirely. I decided to put all my knowledge of these best-selling Nordstrom basics to work in this roundup. To no surprise, they all happened to be the ones that come highly rated by Nordstrom shoppers, proving that they really are quite versatile and—above all—affordable. Based on my findings, I thought it would be silly not to share these popular pieces with you. You might even recognize a few of the T-shirts, tanks, jeans, and shoes you see here since I also have the intel that many WWW readers have bought them, too. The order histories and amazing reviews don’t lie. These 25 basics are the real deal. But don’t just take my word for it—scroll through the below list to discover them all, and then click in to read the reviews and you might just find yourself so inclined to place an order, too. Happy scrolling (and shopping)! Just the name “whisper” makes me believe that this easy tee is soft and light. Stripes make everything look a bit cooler. A solid crewneck tee that

I’ve Struggled With Acne for Years—These 11 Serums Are Actually Worth Your Money
April 23, 2020 at 05:00AM Cheers to clear and glowy skin. FYI—there are more than 430 face serums available at Sephora. At Dermstore? More than 650. Clearly, there is no shortage of covetable serums within the skincare-obsessed day and age we live in, but if you have certain kinds of skincare conditions like acne, finding the right formula that will help (not hurt) can be tricky. Some formulas might be too oily, which can exacerbate bumps and quickly cause pores to clog with buildup. Others might be aggressively laced with acids, exfoliants, and botanicals that just further irritate and worsen sensitive, breakout-prone skin types. I’ve struggled with adult acne for years now and have tried my fair share of acne serums. Sadly, only a large handful have actually helped. To combat whiteheads, blackheads, cystic breakouts, and beyond, I’m sharing 11 of the best acne serums below I swear by for a brighter and clearer 2020. Keep scrolling! This lightweight treatment gel from clean skincare brand Ren was a new discovery this year and one that left me super impressed. Not all acne serums have the gusto to tackle more stubborn textural issues like whiteheads and blackheads, but this one does so handily. It’s easy to layer with your other skincare products and features a skin-improving blend of 0.5% salicylic acid and prebiotic chlorella extract. Swiss skincare brand Weleda is one of the most beloved lines in the industry, but, truth be told, most of its formulas have proven just a tad too rich for my congestion-prone complexion.
FYI: This Is How Our Beauty Editors Execute an Expert-Approved Facial at Home
April 23, 2020 at 05:00AM Giving yourself a celeb-caliber facial at home might sound intimidating, but we’re here to break the joyful news that it definitely doesn’t have to be. Sure, there are a number of steps involved and it’s definitely the kind of self-care ritual to indulge in when you have some extra time on your hands, but we’re fully convinced our at-home routine is *almost* as transformative as an in-office booking. (That said, you’ll save yourself a large booking fee and some painful extractions!) As beauty editors, Courtney and I are well-versed in the art of home facials. We’ve tested enough products, chatted up enough dermatologists, and experienced plenty of professional-level treatments to know how to re-create a truly indulgent glow-up from the comfort of our own homes. That said, to back our regimens with some extra expert guidance, I asked one of L.A.’s most sought-after celeb facialists, Candace Marino, to break down a 10/10 at-home experience step by step. Then, Courtney and I filled in the blanks with all the specific formulas we rely on no matter the state that stress, lack of sleep, or one too many glasses of wine throws our skin into. So take a deep breath, tap that diffuser, light a candle, turn on your humidifier, put together a playlist, and have at it. Your expert-led guide for how to execute the facial of all facials at home is just below. Keep scrolling! First and foremost, Marino says to start your at-home facial
I Shop for a Living and Always Recommend These 7 Affordable Brands at Nordstrom
April 23, 2020 at 05:00AM As a market editor, I’m fortunate that it’s more or less my job to be a shopping specialist as I curate the coolest fashion and accessories out there. While I routinely visit a range of shops and brands as I source said items, I know Nordstrom is a favorite retailer for many, so I spend a lot of time scrolling through the new arrivals section on the site. Given that I write about the retailer frequently, I thought I’d share with you some of my absolute favorite clothing brands that are available at Nordstrom. Yep—all of the lines mentioned here also happen to skew on the affordable end. So if you’re a Nordstrom shopper and are shopping at the moment (or want to note for a shopping session at a later date), keep scrolling to check out the affordable brands I consistently recommend for their offering of chic basics and trendy staples under $100. If it’s a pretty top or a darling knit that’s of interest, this brand will probably have it. This Nordstrom-made line offers those highly versatile staple items like midi dresses and bodysuits that have an on-trend twist. In the market for a few fresh basics? This Nordstrom line is where it’s at. I’m particularly into the tees and pretty statement tops here. I’m all about this Nordstrom-made line for its offering of basics with a twist. I’m a 32DD—Here Are the Swimsuit Styles That Actually Work for Me
April 23, 2020 at 05:00AM Swimsuit shopping, much like shopping for bras, always gets a little difficult for me. I’m a 32DD, and for some reason, it seems like the swimsuit industry is usually geared toward smaller sizes. But unlike my hatred for bra-shopping (why must I put so much effort into something that never sees the light of day?), I do actually love shopping for bikinis. Over the years, I’ve become an expert on deciphering what’s going to look good on me versus what my chest will immediately spill out of just by looking at a product image online. After much trial and error, the winning styles are, in no particular order, as follows: underwire, sporty, bandeau, and triangle. And within all those styles, I’m pretty specific on how I decide whether they’ll be added to my cart. (Extra fabric plus a tie in the back is a winning combo in my books.) Just because I can’t hit the L.A. beaches quite yet, doesn’t mean I’m not shopping for things to wear as I sunbathe on my balcony. Have a similar cup size as me or just looking for some really cute bathing suits to add to your swim drawer? Keep scrolling for 25 cute, DD-approved pieces. A bikini top with underwire is actually one of my favorite styles if you get the right size and find the right style. I usually order one size larger than I normally would (I’ve noticed these styles tend to run a bit small)
8 Random Trends That Are Definitely a Thing Right Now
April 23, 2020 at 05:00AM Ahead of every season, we always do our best to forecast all the trends that will make it big and show up in stores, online, on the streets, and on your IG feed. I’d like to think we do a pretty good job at it, but I would be lying if I didn’t acknowledge that no matter how much time we spend scanning the many runways from each fashion month, more and more It items always crop up as the weeks and months go by. It’s only bound to happen as the focus shifts from speculating to actually dressing for a season. As you probably guessed, such is the case with the items you’re about to see below. From the tie-dye resurgence to the little accessories that are having big moments, it seems that the stay-at-home life has brought with it a wave WFH-approved trends we didn’t see coming but are totally here for. They might have not been on the S/S 20 runways, but as you’re about to see, they’re still definitely a thing right now. Just keep scrolling to see, read about, and shop all eight trends for yourself. As someone who has also leaned heavily into tie-dye print lately, I can vouch for its mood-boosting capabilities—especially when you’re mostly living in loungewear. The print also makes for a great DIY activiry. Is it just me, or are these suddenly everywhere? Even I couldn’t help but get on board. I love this layered look.
Beauty Editors Told Me the Super-Hydrating Products They Covet for Glowing Skin
April 23, 2020 at 05:00AM Skincare is something I’ve been obsessing over since high school. I had problem skin when I was younger, so I spent countless hours testing different doctor-prescribed treatments as well as finds from beauty counters and drugstores. Once I was finally able to achieve clear skin, I worked hard to keep it that way, and in my adult life, I’ve found a skin regimen that works for me, but I’m always on the hunt for new products vetted by industry experts to try out myself. Curious to find out which products beauty editors swear by for glowing skin, I asked some to tell me about the super-hydrating ones they love. Here, they’re sharing their top-shelf favorites, from collagen-packed sheet masks and plumping serums to an antioxidant-packed serum that’s “magic in a bottle.” Ahead, see their picks and some personal favorites that are always stocked in my medicine cabinet. The name says it all. This truly is a hydration booster. Packed with hyaluronic acid—an ingredient that can penetrate beneath your skin’s surface—it’s a scientifically proven hydrator. I love wearing this all over my face as a serum for instantly dewy skin. And at just $20, it is one of my all-time favorite affordable beauty finds. This gel-based face moisturizer from 3Lab is an investment buy, but it’s a product line I’ve been using for years that I really trust. While I’ve tested a number of buzzy moisturizers, I always return to this magic product for super-hydrated, glowing skin. I’ve been

‘Too Hot To Handle’ cast update – CNN — Read on https://www.cnn.com/2020/04/23/entertainment/too-hot-to-handle-netflix/index.html Australian star Harry Jowsey certainly wasn’t shy on Netflix‘s new dating series, Too Hot To Handle. The model, 22, broke many of the show’s rules forbidding sexual contact, including being fined $6,000 for receiving oral sex from co-star Francesca Farago. Harry told Daily Mail Australia from Los Angeles: ‘I thought in all honesty that there’s no way that anyone’s caught that – we thought we got away with it.’
11 Outfits From Friends That Prove Ross Is the Fashion Guy You Didn’t See Coming
April 23, 2020 at 10:15PM I’m just going to come out and say it: Ross Geller is a total fashion guy. Like many, I can’t stop, won’t stop rewatching Friends, and Ross, played by David Schwimmer, has emerged as an unlikely style standout. While Chandler’s affinity for sweater vests and backward baseball hats screams quintessential dad style, Ross is a lot more adventurous with his wardrobe choices. Ross’s fashion blunders only make me love him more. Think about it: he not only wears a pair of leather pants on a first date – and makes us subsequently laugh hysterically while trying to get them back on in the bathroom – but he also unknowingly wears a trend-forward printed women’s sweater with confidence and conviction. While looking back at pictures from the show, I’ve also noticed Ross doesn’t shy away from bold colors and trends. When he’s not showing off a piece from his vast sweater collection, he’s oftentimes seen in sleek fashion-y pieces like turtlenecks, leather jackets, and suede outerwear. Keep reading to see some of my favorite style moments Ross has to offer throughout the seasons. Related: Are You a Ross or a Rachel?
