This Dress Is At The Top Of Every Who What Wear Editor’s Wish List
May 04, 2020 at 02:30PM It doesn’t happen too regularly, but every so often, an item is released that is so good, practically everyone in our editorial team has it on their wish list. Despite the fact we all have quite different personal styles, aesthetics and even body shapes, every few months there will be an item that is so coveted it transcends all of our differences. For spring/summer 2020, that piece will almost certainly be Ganni’s seersucker maxi dress. Perfectly created in a fun summery gingham, with a ruched bodice and frilled shoulder straps the dress is the embodiment of an effortless summer classic, featuring that inimitable ‘cool’ factor that Ganni does so well. It’s the kind of dress that could have easily been created in the mid-nineties, yet looks entirely modern today and likely will for years to come. In fact, the item is so irresistible, a few members of our team already own it. Not to mention, it’s also been a favourite amongst Who What Wear readers. Last year Ganni released the style in a minimalist beige shade, while this year they have already created it in monochromatic black and white, as well as a decidedly feminine shade of pink. Mark my words, if you’re not already seeing this beauty all over your Instagram feeds, it’s sure to be there in the next few months. Keep scrolling to see and shop the wish-list topping dress. I Tried Over 50 Concealers—These Are the Only Ones I’d Recommend
May 04, 2020 at 02:02PM For me, there’s only one beauty product that I consider truly worthy of desert-island status: concealer. If I woke up one day and my entire beauty stash had disappeared (presumably stolen by a burglar with an eye for premium foundation and eye shadow), then concealer would be the first thing that I’d be rushing out to buy. One of the first beauty products that I remember purchasing as a preteen was everyone’s favourite ‘90s cover-up: Rimmel’s Hide the Blemish Concealer. Who cares if Natural Beige was absolutely not my shade? A little of this smudged across my (then) non-existent dark circles and over the humble beginnings of teenage acne made me feel like one of the cool girls. Disclaimer: I’m not entirely proud of the fact that my favourite makeup product is—as its name suggests—a product created to conceal and cover-up supposed skin imperfections. But hear me out. The concealers of 2019 have genuinely come a long way from the thick, chalky, complexion-covering formulas of my teenage years. These days, a good concealer is as much about brightening the skin as it is about disguising a particularly bad breakout. The best boast skin-like finishes that let your moles and freckles shine through but can be layered up if a little extra coverage will help you feel your best. And if I’m honest, as someone who’s been tackling acne since her teenage years, there are some days when I just want my skin to look like as blank a canvas

Rumors About Meghan Markle and Prince Harry to Be Debunked in New Book by Royal Reporters
May 04, 2020 at 02:00PM BY ALYSSA BAILEY MAY 4, 2020 SAMIR HUSSEINGETTY IMAGES Unprecedented details about Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s lives as royals and their decision to step back from their working royal family roles will be released this summer in the first big book about the couple. Harper’s BAZAAR royal editor at large Omid Scobie and ELLE’s royal reporter and contributor Carolyn Durand have co-written Finding Freedom: Harry and Meghan and the Making of a Modern Royal Family, set for a summer 2020 release by HarperCollins. Scobie and Durand covered many of Harry and Meghan’s engagements as royal reporters and have had a frontline view of the couple at work. They’ve contributed to ELLE, Harper’s BAZAAR, O the Oprah Magazine, ABC, and Good Morning America. HARPERCOLLINS They’ve also broken news and debunked false rumors about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex—something they will do at much greater length in Finding Freedom. (For context, Meghan and Harry are suing the publishers of the Mail on Sunday and The Sun over stories the outlets have written that have been a gross invasion of their privacy. The couple also recently announced they will no longer work with the four British tabloids that smeared them the most: The Sun, The Daily Mail, Daily Express, and The Mirror.) For their book, Scobie and Durand spoke with people closest to the couple. “The aim of this book is to portray the real Harry and Meghan, a couple who continue to inspire many around the world through their humanitarian and charitable work but are often inaccurately portrayed,” the authors said in a press release. “Our mission has been motivated by a desire
