May 01, 2020 at 05:06PM When Charlize Theron attended this year’s BAFTAs, all eyes were on the delicate but arresting choker she was wearing; fashioned from 18-karat rose gold and rows of custom-cut diamonds, the high-jewellery piece is part of Tiffany & Co.’s new Tiffany T1 collection (available now), which offers bracelets, rings and necklaces boasting the iconic Tiffany T design, currently reimagined with bold beveled edges, and occasionally sprinkled with round brilliant cut diamonds. The designs reflect chief artistic officer Reed Krakoff’s philosophy about including luxurious elements in everyday styles. “It’s much more common for people to want to curate their own image,” he says. “‘This is my style; this is how I wear Tiffany.’” Imagery courtesy of Tiffany & Co. But if you’re curious about the real spot where Outer Banks is filmed, it’s not actually in North Carolina. Well, Mindy Kaling one upped him with her re-creation, which she showed off on her Instagram. Mindy joined the #MetGalaChallenge, which was created by Billy Porter and Vogue. The challenge encourages individuals to re-create iconic Met Gala looks from the past while staying at home since the event is postponed this year due to the coronavirus pandemic. Mindy absolutely crushed the challenge with her creative and fashionable outfit that left us in tears from how hard we were cackling. The actress no doubt won the the challenge in our eyes with her interpretation of the infamous Gucci look. Mindy constructed a red dress and covered it with Christmas lights. She even went so far as to draw a beard on her face and carried a mannequin head that resembled herself – fake beard and all!
