May 19, 2020 at 07:50PM If there’s one item we’ve learned is a staple during quarantine, it’s a pair of gold hoops. Just take a quick scroll through the feeds of Bella Hadid, Emily Ratajkowski, Hailey Bieber or Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and you’ll soon see that fashion’s most stylish figures are rarely without a pair of gold hoops – whether they’re taking their dog for a walk, taking part in a video call or hosting their own high fashion photoshoot at home. And therein lies the beauty of the gold hoop – casual enough for everyday but equally dressy enough to jazz up just about any outfit with little to no effort required. And with social distancing protocols still in place across Canada and many of us still working from home for the foreseeable, there’s no better time to add a pair of gold hoops to your line-up to help you transition from work calls to (virtual) wine time with friends. Here’s 19 of our favourite pairs from brands across Canada: <div class="sjm-attachment-carousel–header gallery-container–default" data-slick='{"speed":400,"adaptiveHeight":true,"variableWidth":false,"centerMode":true,"centerPadding":"0","slidesToShow":1,"lazyLoad":"ondemand","prevArrow":"Previous”,”nextArrow”:”Next”}’ data-simplemodal=’false’ > 1/19 Adrienne Hoops ($125, Leah Alexandra) Buy Now 2/19 Paradox Hoops ($105, Biko) Buy Now 3/19 Birdie Hoops ($315, Oremme) Buy Now 4/19 Marta Earrings ($170, Wolf Circus) Buy Now 5/19 Laetitia Hoops ($175, Deux Lions) Buy Now 6/19 E001 Hoops ($98, Lisa Gozlan) Buy Now 7/19 Editor Hoops ($90, Mejuri) Buy Now 8/19 Small Everyday Hoops ($260, Van Der Hout Jewellery) Buy Now 9/19 Kate Hoop ($75, CUCHARA) Buy Now 10/19 Millie Solid

May 19, 2020 at 11:00AM There are lots of buzzy skincare ingredients out there, but there are few as time-tested and proven-effective as niacinamide. This enormously beneficial form of Vitamin B3 has been so well-accepted in the beauty world in part due to its successful medical applications. Niacinamide is used frequently as a powerful therapy for diabetes, skin cancer, osteoarthritis, and other diseases and disorders. In terms of skincare, the B vitamin is unparalleled in its support of the natural skin barrier – increasing resiliency, regulating sebum, and protecting skin cells. Harry Styles’ Watermelon Sugar Film Clip is Full of Fashion Moments
May 19, 2020 at 06:02PM Harry Styles knew the world needed something right now, and so the former One Direction member released his newest single Watermelon Sugar overnight. Filmed pre-COVID, the film clip for the song begins with a tribute reading, “This video is dedicated to touching,” before proceeding into three minutes of Styles and friends eating watermelon on a beach while sitting very, very close. Styles himself added a warning to his Instagram post writing, “Do not try this at home. Practice social distancing.” And whilst the song is undoubtedly on its way to becoming a summer anthem, our favourite part of the Watermelon Sugar film clip was the fashion, naturally. Known for his boundary-pushing style, Styles and his longtime stylist Harry Lambert curated four standout looks for the video, including a head-to-toe Gucci ensemble consisting of a cropped sweater, jeans and a fringed scarf. See the best fashion moments from Watermelon Sugar below: Rocking a floral print shirt from Bode, a pearl necklace and round, clear-lensed Gucci sunglasses, Styles is literally summer in a photograph here. Michael Jordan’s Game-Worn Nikes Just Broke Records and Sold For a Whopping $560K
May 19, 2020 at 04:58PM Michael Jordan just set a new record, and it’s all thanks to a pair of Nikes. The basketball player, who has been in the news for his hit ESPN documentary series The Last Dance, owned a pair of sneakers from 1985 that have sold for a record price during a Sotheby’s auction. The red Nike Air Jordan 1 sneakers, which were signed by Jordan in permanent marker, sold for a whopping $560,000. That’s about $100,000 more than the previous record holder, which was a pair of 1972 Nike Waffle Racing Flat “Moon Shoes.” Sotheby’s held the online auction with collector and consignor Jordan Geller, who is the founder of sneaker museum Shoezeum. The auction took place on May 17 and coincided with the airing of the last episode of The Last Dance – that’s probably the reason why they sold for that much! The midlength sneakers were designed by Peter Moore and were produced and worn during in 1985. According to WWD, “Bidders ranged in age from 19 to over 50 from four continents, and 70 percent of the bidders were new to Sotheby’s. The value reached $300,000 within the final 20 minutes of the start of the sale and eventually sold at more than 3.5 times its $150,000 estimate.” Read on to see Jordan wearing the red sneakers back in 1985, and see a close-up of them signed, too. Dua Lipa’s Louis Vuitton Headscarf Look Just Inspired My Next $30 Outfit
May 19, 2020 at 04:10PM Dua Lipa has been quarantined with her boyfriend, Anwar Hadid, and sharing plenty of content with her fans. There’s tons of outfit inspo mixed into it all (remember that adorable daisy print crop top she went grocery shopping in?). That said, her stay-home style is actually relatable, especially her latest “inside outside outfit,” which she is apparently still workshopping, according to her Instagram caption. But I’m pretty sure this look falls right in line with my current mood – it’s everything I want to be wearing. “Dua has just solidified the headscarf as the single piece you need to jazz up your stay home sweats until the end of time.” Now that it’s nearly summer, I, too, want to turn all my sweatpants into sweat shorts, and a fitted cardigan in the same heather gray shade just makes this seem like an instant matching set. Allow a cutesy bra with glitter straps to make an appearance alongside some rainbow necklaces, playful gold hoops, and a jelly beaded bag, and you’ll instantly look like you just walked out of Limited Too. And man, what I wouldn’t give to have just walked out of Limited Too. Of course, Dua took it upon herself to wrap a silk Louis Vuitton headscarf around her dyed bangs, and that’s the real kicker. Without the printed hair wrap, this outfit would somehow – yes, even given its numerous eye-catching accoutrements – be missing something. Dua has just solidified the headscarf as
22 of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s Best Couple Dressing Moments
May 19, 2020 at 04:06PM Today marks two years since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle married in front of the eyes of the world at Windsor Castle. And whilst so much has changed for the couple since that day – they’ve welcomed their first son, Archie, and relocated to North America after stepping back from their roles as senior royals – there’s also plenty that hasn’t, including their fondness for a matching moment when it comes to their wardrobes. Since the early days of their relationship, Harry and Meghan have perfected the art of couple dressing by wearing his and hers versions of the same hue (or in the case of appearances for the Invictus Games, the exact same shirt and jacket). So, as Harry and Meghan celebrate their second wedding anniversary, we’re taking a look back at 22 of the pair’s best matching outfits: <div class="sjm-attachment-carousel–header gallery-container–default" data-slick='{"speed":400,"adaptiveHeight":true,"variableWidth":false,"centerMode":true,"centerPadding":"0","slidesToShow":1,"lazyLoad":"ondemand","prevArrow":"Previous”,”nextArrow”:”Next”}’ data-simplemodal=’false’ > Photo by Chris Jackson/Getty Images Photo by John Linton/PA Images via Getty Images Photo by Karwai Tang/WireImage Photo by Mark Cuthbert/UK Press via Getty Images Photo by Max Mumby/Indigo/Getty Images Photo by John Stillwell – WPA Pool/Getty Images Photo by Pool/Getty Images Photo by Karwai Tang/WireImage Paul Edwards – Pool/Getty Images Photo by Karwai Tang/WireImage Photo by Ricky Vigil M/GC Images Photo by Samir Hussein/Samir Hussein/WireImage Photo by Paul Grover – WPA Pool/Getty Images Photo by Samir Hussein/Samir Hussein/ WireImage Photo by Dominic Lipinski – WPA Pool/Getty Images Photo by Handout/Chris Jackson/Invictus Games Foundation via Getty Images Photo by
