Not to Be Corny, but I’m Just Really Digging Millie Bobby Brown’s Chic Gardening Outfit

May 18, 2020 at 07:27PM Unlike the average teen, Millie Bobby Brown is a style icon in her own right. While I wore tacky graphic tees and too-short shorts over leggings as a 16-year-old, the Stranger Things actress is out here looking extremely chic in a wide brim hat and Birkenstocks. Cool, cool. Of course, it’s no surprise she continues to serve looks while self-isolating at home. In a recent Instagram post, Millie wore an effortless boho outfit while building a garden, according to her caption. Her outfit consisted of an olive green hat and matching high-waisted shorts, classic Birkenstocks, and a puff-sleeve crop top from Urban Outfitters that’s unfortunately sold out online. Not that I ever get into the weeds, but if I did, I’d certainly like to be wearing Millie’s outfit. Keep scrolling to shop her exact sandals, plus similar items to successfully recreate her look. BRB, Admiring Harry Styles’s “Watermelon Sugar” Music Video Outfits – Don’t Text

May 18, 2020 at 07:11PM Don’t bother texting or calling me for the rest of this week, because I plan on spending the vast majority of my time watching Harry Styles’s “Watermelon Sugar” music video on a loop just to fully wrap my head around his incredible outfits. In the highly anticipated video, the Fine Line singer frolics on a beach and sensually munches on an entire year’s worth of watermelon slices and strawberries whilst simultaneously blessing us with all the summer style inspiration we could possibly need. Now that’s what I call multitasking. Harry wears not one, not two, but four looks total in the three-minute masterpiece, including a smattering of designs by his favorite label (Gucci, duh), plus fun vintage sunglasses and bold prints galore. Every outfit has a retro, ’70s-style vibe that most definitely has me on a (watermelon sugar) high, if I do say so myself. Ahead, get up close and personal with all four of Harry’s latest music video outfits, which most definitely deserve a spot on your summer outfit mood board. J Lo’s Electric-Pink Gown From 2018’s AMAs Is Being Auctioned Off For Coronavirus Relief

May 18, 2020 at 04:49PM Georges Chakra is one of the many designers who are doing their part to help combat COVID-19 – with a little help from Jennifer Lopez. The Lebanese designer, who has created countless showstopping red carpet designs over the years, is auctioning off a gorgeous look worn by the singer. Georges has teamed up with Chic Relief, a charity helping combat the coronavirus pandemic, to auction off the couture gown J Lo wore to the 2018 American Music Awards. The Fall/Winter 2018 Couture gown comes in an electrifying hot-pink hue made from a silk chiffon material. If you remember, J Lo stunned fans in the sexy halterneck number, which featured side cutouts, a daring thigh-high slit, and black velvet cage detailing on the back. It even featured a cape that J Lo showed off while twirling on the red carpet. If you’re hoping to get the gown worn by Jennifer, you’ll find it available on eBay from May 17 to May 27 until 4 p.m. PT. One-hundred percent of the proceeds from the sale will go to Direct Relief. The best part is eBay will be matching the funds raised by the dress for up to $1 million and will help provide protective gear, along with other support, to front-line medical workers across the world. Comrags is Revisiting Swimwear This Season

May 18, 2020 at 04:00PM Now in its 37th year of business, Comrags has reintroduced swimwear to its line for the first time since the ’80s—a smart move since customers had taken to wearing the brand’s Lycra pieces to the beach and poolside in past seasons. The new offering includes a one-piece tank-style bather that goes nearly to the knee (designed with paddle boarding in mind, according to co-designer Judy Cornish), a bathing dress and a T-shirt and briefs—all crafted from a two-way-stretch, quick-drying jersey produced in Italy. “We like the mill because they consider sustainability,” says Cornish. “We monitor every single stage of our productions’s cycle in order to reduce the use of water, energy, chemicals and waste.” A focus on conscious creation speaks to Comrags’ larger goal of crafting garments that will find a home in someone’s closet for many years to come. “It’s what [co-founder] Joyce [Gunhouse] and I have long believed; that clothing should last,” she notes. If your WFH style could also use a splash of excitement, the brand’s new watercolour prints will give a subtle lift to your look. Here are five picks from Comrags’ current collection to buy now and enjoy for a long time to come: <div class="sjm-attachment-carousel–header gallery-container–default" data-slick='{"speed":400,"adaptiveHeight":true,"variableWidth":false,"centerMode":true,"centerPadding":"0","slidesToShow":1,"lazyLoad":"ondemand","prevArrow":"Previous”,”nextArrow”:”Next”}’ data-simplemodal=’false’ > Photography by Riley Stewart. May 18, 2020 at 03:50PM Target has just glued the biggest smiles to our faces with the announcement of its summer 2020 Designer Dress Collection – a collaboration with three unique dress designers: Cushnie, LoveShackFancy, and Lisa Marie Fernandez. Not only are the dresses fit for every type of woman – you’ll shop the Cushnie line for bold pops of color and utmost sophistication, LoveShackFancy for bohemian romance, and Lisa Marie Fernandez for luxe-looking beach throws – they’re also bright and mood lifting, shown on a diverse range of body types and available in sizes XXS to 3X. The entire range, which is complete with 70 different dresses, will be available on June 6 on Target.com and June 15 in stores, but Target has promptly increased its online allotment given the current climate, encouraging customers to shop online in an effort to promote social distancing. In case you weren’t aware, this marks the first time ever that Target has focused one of its collaborations on a sole wardrobe basic: the dress – and focus it did! The mix of prints, silhouettes, and fabrics here is truly beautiful. “When we started working with these three designers [over a year ago], our collective hope with The Designer Dress Collection was, and still is, to evoke a sense of joy and confidence that

For First Nations Beauty Queen Ashley Callingbull, Tattoos Keep Her Family Extra Close

May 18, 2020 at 03:00PM Some people simply like how their tattoos look when they see themselves in the mirror. But Cree model, actor, activist and RW & Co. ambassador Ashley Callingbull has a deep connection to the symbols she has chosen to decorate her skin with: “Tattoos are a powerful way of sharing what you’ve been through and what you’ve overcome.” Born in Enoch Cree Nation in Alberta, Callingbull rocketed to fame after being crowned Mrs. Universe 2015 in Minsk, Belarus. Her air-punching victory marked the first time an Indigenous woman and a Canadian had ever won the title. Since then, the 30-year-old has used her platform to fight for Indigenous issues, including raising awareness about the inquiry into missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls.  View this post on Instagram Representing First Nations on the international stage was the best feeling in the world A post shared by Ashley Callingbull (@ashleycallingbull) on Aug 30, 2015 at 2:44pm PDT //www.instagram.com/embed.js Her journey to where she is today was far from smooth. When she was a child, her mother brought them to live with her then boyfriend on another Alberta reserve. There, Callingbull grew up in poverty and, unbeknownst to her mother at the time, endured six years of physical and sexual abuse at his hand. A victim herself, her mother finally built up the courage to pack up their belongings and escape to Callingbull’s grandparents’ house in Enoch.  Photography by Alyssa Lau and Eric Yun. hair and makeup, mariah
