May 17, 2020 at 06:00AM I’m going to save you the preamble of why we love French women and just cut to the chase: they do everything so effortlessly. And, as if their flair for style wasn’t enough, they also know how to look after their skin well. Mais bien sûr. I’ve read plenty of pieces over the years about how French women do everything they can to ensure their skin is as glowing as possible, they don’t wear too much makeup, and they invest in anti-ageing skincare much earlier than us across the channel. But is that true? I decided to get in touch with four French women who I admire and ask them what’s really behind great skin. Keep scrolling for everything you need to know… “French girls are really interested in skincare and it starts early. In terms of starting anti-ageing products in your 20s—it all depends on your skin but why not? The product that all French women use religiously, however, is moisturiser. I swear by Tata Harper, BioEffect and Esthederm.” “My mother always told me, ever since I was young, to always hydrate and nourish my skin. And drink lots of water to keep my skin plump and shiny.” “I don’t really use anti-ageing products— usually I just wash my face and I protect my skin from the UV and pollution in the morning. Then at night I apply Estée Lauder’s Advanced Night Repair—It’s my go-to product. I feel like French women are becoming more and more careful about the

20 of the Best Candles to Make Your Home Feel Like a Spa
May 17, 2020 at 06:00AM Let’s be honest: If there was ever a time for bringing a little extra zen into our households, it’s probably now. When we asked what you wanted to read about at the moment, the answers we heard back again and again revolved around home comforts—simple ways to bring a bit of normality to your routine. (This is in addition to great loungewear, chic WFH outfits and the best at-home beauty tips, of course.) So we put our heads together and thought of the simplest home-comforts team Who What Wear kept coming back to: a great-smelling candle. It’s the little things, right? When it’s difficult to separate your work and home spaces or switch off your mind when you need to, something like lighting your favourite candle can be one of the easiest ways to change the vibe of a room and get you to that happy place. We all have our little routines—whether it’s surrounding a daily bubble bath or doing an at-home yoga session—and after you’ve switched off your laptop or TV after a long day, lighting a candle goes a long way in accessing that much-needed self-care moment. We thought, then, that we’d round up the best-smelling, calm-inducing candles out there. Some are cult fragrances that will make you feel like you’re in your favourite spa immediately (hello, Diptyque Baies) and some are our insider favourites that smell way more expensive than their high-street price tags. & Other Stories’ Summer Collection Has Arrived—Here’s What We’re Buying
May 17, 2020 at 06:00AM We might not be able to head into the shops as usual, but that hasn’t stopped us from doing plenty of window (erm, screen?) shopping this month. & Other Stories, as usual, as been at the top of our list, and while we adore its woolen knits and chunky boots during the winter months, it’s summer where the brand really excels. Of course, it’s mostly about the dresses, and it’s fair to say every Who What Wear editor has at least one well-loved Stories frock hanging in their wardrobe. But it’s time to take off the blinkers, because there is so much more to see. From linen and 50 shades of lilac to elevated basics and beautiful blouses, it seems as though & Other Stories has really perfected the art of the wearable-yet-stylish staple. Case in point? The brand’s pistacho-coloured linen blazer will look great thrown over tracksuit bottoms and a white tee for a trip to the supermarket now, and then when we are finally able to go back to the office, it will work equally as well with tailored trousers and heeled boots. So whether you want to join us in a bit of screen shopping (it’s a thing now, ok?) or fancy adding a few hardworking buys to your summer capsule, scroll down to see the best Stories has to offer this season. How My Love of Music Translates Into the Perfect and Most Inspiring Loungewear
May 16, 2020 at 09:03PM I’ve always relished in the power of self-expressive fashion. Before social distancing and self-isolation, piecing together an outfit was my favorite morning task. That being said, when we started staying home, I enjoyed languidly rotating through my collection of hoodies and sweatpants, if only for the convenience factor. But, after a while, that began to lose its luster and even take a toll on my energy levels at work. Writer’s block reared its ugly head more times than usual, and it became a bit harder for me to stay focused. That’s when I found myself gravitating toward band tees and tour merch. To give my solid-color hoodies a wide berth, I rummaged through my clothes for something cute, comfy, and energizing. Lo and behold, I extricated a Jimi Hendrix tee that I bought months ago but hadn’t worn yet. After even more digging, I found another shirt with the Voodoo Child printed on the front, as well as a Beyoncé crop tee and a Brockhampton sweatshirt. Related: Why a White Ribbed Tank Will Forever Feel Like My Sexiest "Stay Home" Outfit It’s quite surprising how these pieces fell by the wayside considering music is my lifeline. One of my bedroom walls is plastered with two giant posters of Jimi rocking out and Kendrick Lamar basking in his “I am the greatest rapper alive” glory. I’ve been teaching myself how to play guitar and the keyboard, as well as throwing Prince-themed dance parties with my roommate.

Skims Just Launched Seamless Face Masks – and Is Donating 10,000 of ‘Em to Charity
May 16, 2020 at 05:01PM Skims is as it again with another release, but this time, it’s not fuzzy loungewear or ribbed undergarments – it’s face masks. On May 16, Kim Kardashian‘s shapewear brand released a collection of seamless masks that have elastic bands and are “soft and breathable for all-day wear,” according to the press release. In true Kim style, they come in five muted colors that’ll match with just about anything: Sand (off-white), Clay (beige), Sienna (light brown), Cocoa (dark brown), and Onyx (black). To help support ongoing coronavirus relief efforts, Skims is donating 10,000 of the nonmedical face masks to the following nonprofit organizations: Good+Foundation, Baby2Baby, LA Food Bank, and National Domestic Workers Alliance. This move comes after the brand previously pledged to donate $1 million to be allocated across the same charities. Skims’ individual masks are now available for $8, a two-pack can be purchased for $15, or you can score a bundle of four for $25. Check out the color selections ahead, and then head on over to skims.com to buy your favorite one.
