May 13, 2020 at 02:00PM We try not to be too prescriptive when it comes to fashion here at Who What Wear, whether that’s in relation to the shoe trends spiking on the runways or the rogue bikini trend proliferating on Instagram. Of course, we’ll never turn down a good dose of style inspo (the more the merrier), but we like to think that we offer you a range of options that you can pick and choose from. However, there are some things that really are fundamental to building a successful wardrobe foundation, and one of those is underwear. Feeling secure, confident and comfortable in what lies beneath is so important for starting the day the right way. And while everyone has different requirements in the lingerie stakes—depending on their shape and size—we found that, after a quick survey of the office, there were certain underwear styles that cropped up again and again. These eight styles, specifically, have been invaluable throughout our twenties and beyond. Obviously, this list isn’t reserved for those under the age of 30. Whether you’re 18 or 80, it’s so liberating to give your underwear drawer a spring clean and invest in some time-tested, winning staples. Foam Rolling 101: Lauren Roxburgh On The Ultimate WFH Fitness Routine
May 13, 2020 at 11:05AM As one of the most sought-after body workers in L.A., we’ve been consulting with structural integrative specialist and best-selling author, Lauren Roxburgh for years. Lauren has helped us better understand the fascinating connection between our bodies and our emotions. Working with the fascia and lymphatic system, Lauren harnesses that knowledge to help so many of us achieve a more balanced, pain-free and svelte body, so — yes, we love Lauren and are not surprised to find that women everywhere are signing up for her Aligned Life Virtual Studio classes in droves while at home this spring. Read through Lauren’s own description of what foam rolling is all about below. It might be one of the simplest and best practices you ever pick up for yourself… Foam rolling is my secret weapon to getting a gorgeous, slimmer, more elegant posture and a strong body. Most people think of the foam roller as a tool to roll out tight IT bands, but when used regularly, it can completely transform your body, posture, confidence and even your state of mind. The benefits of foam rolling extend far beyond just feeling good; the roller can also help to heal our fascia, which plays an important role in the overall structure of our bones and joints. The easiest way to explain how foam rolling works is to think about a rolling pin rolling out and smoothing dough. The foam roller works in a similar way in that when you put weight on
17 Eye Creams That Actually Work on Dark Circles
May 13, 2020 at 11:00AM Of all the questions that I’m asked as a beauty editor, how to actually get rid of dark circles has to be up there as one of the most widespread enquiries. From my teenage sister whose laidback approach to studying often results in all-nighters spent at the library to my friend that has forgotten what sleep is since becoming a mum of three, dark circles are all-inclusive when it comes to who they target. Luckily, there are things that you can do to combat dark under-eye circles if they are bothering you—and one of the simplest places to start is with a decent eye cream. Kate Kerr, skin expert and director of the Kate Kerr London Clinic told me that there are two main ingredients to look out for when selecting the best eye cream for dark circles: “L-Ascorbic acid, a potent form of vitamin C, and a retinol-based eye cream which will help to strengthen the area.” So without further ado, keep scrolling for the best eye creams to invest in now to minimise darkness, reduce pigmentation and brighten up tired-looking eyes. Plus, there are some celebrity favourites in the mix too… Versed might be a new brand, but it’s already gaining popularity with this eye cream, one of the front-runners as a favourite product from the range. The gel instantly cools and refreshes skin and contains vitamin C to help brighten and diminish dark circles. The First Aid Beauty Eye Duty Triple Remedy (£26) has
Why I love Les Mills BODYPUMP
May 13, 2020 at 11:13AM Sharing my thoughts on my very favorite Les Mills program, BODYPUMP! Take a class for FREE On Demand using my link and you’ll get 30 days of unlimited workouts from the Les Mills platform. Hi friends! How’s the week going? It’s been kind of a doozy over here. I wrote everything up in a Thursday Thoughts post for tomorrow! The Pilot has been working and traveling quite a bit, I have a full-body rash that thankfully isn’t contagious but may not go away for weeks, and we’re hitting week 9 of this whole situation. If anyone else feels like you’re losing your marbles, please know you’re not alone. Something that has helped me remarkably in the past couple of months: solid workouts. Even with everything going on, I’ve been dedicated to working out virtually every single day. It feels SO good to move my body, zone out, and almost feel like I’m alone for a little while. Something that I’ve brought back into my regular routine that I missed dearly: BODYPUMP! BODYPUMP feels like the quintessential Les Mills workout. It was the first one I tried, the first one that stole my heart, and something I find myself coming back to, again and again. Pic from teaching a class in San Diego when it was a purple theme and I was pregnant with P. (It was the Pilot’s first… and only… BODYPUMP experience haha.) Why I love Les Mills BODYPUMP For today’s post, I thought
