June 18, 2020 at 05:42PM Crocs has teamed up with Ruby Rose for a pair of rainbow-colored shoes for Pride. The actor and model gave Crocs’s Classic Bae Clog a colorful makeover with a unique marbling treatment. The rainbow shoes have a ’90s feel to them with the marbling effect and chunky heels. They even come with laces that have “Pride” written all over them. On the colorful Crocs, “Just” and “Love” are written across the back of each shoe. The limited-edition shoes are priced at $70 while supplies last and are available on Crocs.com. “Few people embody Crocs’s signature ‘Come As You Are’ attitude more than actor and model Ruby Rose,” the brand said in a press release regarding the collaboration. “In honor of this collaboration, Crocs has made a donation to GLAAD, a leading media advocacy organization working to accelerate LGBTQ acceptance, with the hope that we can create a world where everyone can live the life they love.” Read on to see the at-home campaign, which stars Ruby (and an adorable pup!) as well as multiple close-up shots of the shoes. Normani Doesn’t Want Your Performative Posts—She Needs Action

June 18, 2020 at 04:29PM Urban Decay’s newest UD Global Citizen on moving beyond buzzwords and revolutionizing beauty standards. Normani was forced to reckon with universal beauty standards, ones that didn’t often include Black women like her, from a young age. Starting in elementary school, where she was only one of three Black students, she would study the rich, deep tone of her skin and the kinks and thickness of her hair in the mirror. These are the same qualities classmates cruelly mocked and the ones Normani would wish away in front of the mirror, hoping for a transformation that wouldn’t make her feel like the “other.” “I remember asking my mom to straighten my hair because I became very exhausted, having to explain why my hair appeared so different from theirs,” she tells ELLE.com. “I often wondered what life would’ve been like if my skin were lighter.” Now, instead of following beauty norms, Normani is helping define them. Normani is joining Urban Decay as the brand’s newest UD Global Citizen. The singer joins Urban Decay’s new class of Global Citizens alongside Riverdale star Camila Mendes and Hong Kong singer G.E.M for the brand’s Pretty Different campaign, which celebrates these women for their individuality and unapologetic nature, and pushing boundaries in their respective fields. Each UD Global Citizen will support the brand’s launches, including the newest iteration of Urban Decay’s Naked series, the Ultraviolet Eyeshadow Palette. Rihanna’s New Fenty Drop Includes Tie-Dye Sweatshirts and Bucket Hats

June 18, 2020 at 04:34PM Rihanna‘s luxury brand Fenty is back with its new collection. The singer released her latest campaign imagery, which was taken by London-based photographer Lea Colombo. It features models, artists, and musicians who “embody the bright spark energy of the release.” The collection, called “Release 6-20,” will be released in three separate drops across June, starting with Drop 1 and 2, which are available on Fenty’s website right now. This first drop offers a new take on the brand’s corset dress and its side-slit baggy pants, which was from the 2-20 collection. The second drop fuses colors from ’90s rave culture with ’00s logomania. “In a time where fighting for global freedoms takes center stage, this release speaks to a generation that is a different kind of creative, and a different kind of rebellious,” the brand’s press release stated. The collection is inspired by “decades of youth aesthetics and styles that emerged during periods of steep social change, each part of the month-long release celebrates a different facet of youth, expressed through varied style cues.” If you look at the imagery, you’ll notice psychedelic prints and many ’90s subculture references throughout the collection. We saw some of our favorite nostalgic trends like tie-dye prints, baggy rave silhouettes, grunge hoodies, and formfitting asymmetric dresses showcased. Keep reading to see the gorgeous imagery from the campaign, then shop the first and second drop ahead. Related: It's Hard to Miss Rihanna When She's Wearing This Bright Orange Fenty Outfit

Willow Smith Brings a Whole New Meaning to Outdoor Athleisure in Her Onitsuka Tiger Campaign

June 18, 2020 at 04:01PM Willow Smith has joined forces with Japanese fashion brand Onitsuka Tiger for Fall 2020, posing for a series of amazing photos taken by Ellie Pritts before the coronavirus outbreak. Willow excites us with her own brand of athleisure through these images (some of which are psychedelic enough to be optical illusions). But her look is infused with Onitsuka’s classically tough streetwear, although, in the campaign video you’ll watch below, Willow grooves out to her own song “Poolside” from her album The Anxiety with Tyler Cole. So it’s pretty safe to say this brand moment was heavily inspired by 19-year-old Willow, her connection with nature, and her overall world view. “Willow Smith is a woman blessed with universal humanism and excellent creativity, going beyond the limits of Generation Z or Millennials. In 2020 when we will enter into a brave new era for humans, we feel a strong affinity and joy as a brand for the fact that we can collaborate with someone who has both a unique perspective on society and intelligence and shares messages globally,” the brand stated in a press release. Creative Director Andrea Pompilio stressed the idea even further: “In this campaign, we expressed Willow’s natural beauty and strength as well as her love for the Earth which oozed from the bottom of her soul.” Willow was also enthusiastic about the partnership, acknowledging the company’s positive energy that very much aligns with her own. A portion of proceeds from the sale of

June 18, 2020 at 03:26PM Remember when primary debates dominated the headlines? If 2020 has taught us anything—and between the government’s response to the pandemic and the national protests, it’s taught us a lot—it’s that we can’t lose sight of who’s in office. And it’s not just about who sits in the White House. It’s about selecting the state legislators, district attorneys, and sheriffs who wield tremendous power over your community. Though social distancing and threats of voter suppression can make casting a ballot seem intimidating, it’s still the single most effective way of being heard and making a difference. Marisa Tomei Is the Best Part of The King of Staten Island

June 18, 2020 at 03:13PM arisa Tomei has a new movie out. The King of Staten Island is a Judd Apatow-directed comedy-drama inspired by SNL breakout Pete Davidson’s life, including the death of his firefighter father on 9/11. But it’s Tomei who deserves every accolade for her portrayal of Davidson’s saintly mother Margie. The King of Staten Island is a moving film that shows New Yorkers’ resilience after tragedy firsthand, which feels especially pertinent at a time when we could all use a little inspiration (and frankly, something good to watch in quarantine). Equal parts touching and darkly funny, the story is grounded in empathy for its protagonist Scott (Davidson), who struggles to accept his painful loss and waddles through a stunted adolescence, causing his mom a great deal of agita as she attempts to move on. Comedian Bill Burr proves his acting chops as Margie’s love interest, who’s also a firefighter, and Maude Apatow steals every scene as Scott’s younger sister, Claire (based on Davidson’s real-life sister Casey).  READ NEXT Bel Powley Takes on ‘The King of Staten Island’ Ditch the Sweatpants & Dress Like Mona Lisa Vito But in the midst of the film’s release on demand, protests are continuing across the country in response to the killing of George Floyd in police custody, and Tomei has other things on her mind during our Zoom call. Over the past three weeks, Tomei, a longtime activist, has been busy using her platform to guide her 1.2 million Instagram followers toward useful resources, including candid conversations about race from
