I’ve Finally Found Swimsuits I Don’t Hate My Body in, and It’s All Thanks to This Brand
June 23, 2020 at 02:45PM I’d consider myself an “in-betweener” when it comes to size – not curvy, but not fit and toned, and definitely round around the edges (“apple-shaped,” if we’re using the fruit-size guide). I’m not especially self-conscious in clothes, but when I’m wearing a swimsuit, I hate everything about my body. All I see are doughy, jiggly bits. That is, until I discovered Aerie one-piece swimsuits. I had known all about Aerie and its #AerieReal campaign for a while now, and I love seeing so many women of all different sizes and shapes regularly post photos of themselves using the hashtag. This was the inspiration I needed a few years ago to finally take the plunge and buy one for myself. I thought, if these women can post photos of themselves in a swimsuit for thousands of followers to see, I can find a way to feel good in one as well. I ordered a ruffly black one-piece with cutouts ($27, originally $55) that was sexy and flattering and comfortable – I couldn’t believe how good I felt in it. After wearing it in public, I was even more confident; so much so, in fact, that I went back and bought two more swimsuits in different styles. For once, I was enjoying summer to its fullest – paddleboarding, laying out by a pool, swimming in a lake – without covering my stomach, self-consciously wrapping a towel around my waist, or hiding in a cover-up. I wasn’t even

Kate Moss’ Cycling Outfit Is as Chic as You’d Expect
June 23, 2020 at 12:09PM Since social distancing measures were put in place in the UK in late March, there seems to have been a few trending hobbies that have emerged on social media. Initially, everyone with an Instagram account was baking banana bread, and then we all developed a collective obsession with puzzles. Though now, with restrictions loosened, it seems we’ve moved on from indoor activities as according to The Guardian, there has been a drastic increase in bike sales across the UK. In fact, the publication reported sales have tripled and repair shops are the busiest they’ve been in decades. As always, Kate Moss seems to be right on trend, as the super was seen out riding a bike in the Cotswolds this week. For her leisurely outing, Moss chose to don the ultimate bike outfit, opting for a relaxed polo top, black skinny jeans and a pair of timeless ballet flats. Both classic and practical, Moss’ monotone look felt right at home amongst the idyllic countryside backdrop. While floral patterns and bright prints are often the go-to for summer, there’s something so undeniably timeless about Moss’ choice to keep it simple. We’ll be taking this as inspiration for our next afternoon cycle. Keep scrolling to see Kate’s look and shop similar below. Next up, the biggest S/S 20 fashion trends you need to know. obé fitness review (my thoughts + are the workouts good?)
June 23, 2020 at 11:18AM Sharing my full review of the obé fitness platform, my favorite instructors, pros, cons, and if the workouts are good. Hey friends! Hope you’re having a good morning. It’s the usual routine over here – catching a virtual barre class and then hitting the pool with the babies later if it isn’t too smoky outside. The fire in Tucson is still horrible and the smoke has clouded the city for the past few days. I’m crossing my fingers that it can be contained soon! For today’s post, I wanted to share my thoughts on the obé fitness platform now that I’ve had some time to try different workouts and instructors. I mentioned before that signed up for obé was kind of an accident. I did the free 7-day trial because I wanted to take more of Amanda Kloots’ workouts (I’ve loved her dance cardio for years) and when I called to cancel it, it was over the weekend and the office was closed. Since I paid for a month, I kept trying more classes, and called to cancel it and they gave me a sweet deal for the following month. So, here we are, and I have to say, I’ve really enjoyed some of the workouts I’ve found. obé fitness review What is obé fitness? It’s an online fitness platform featuring 26-minute workouts in three different segments: Sweat – cardio-focused workouts, like HIIT training, dance cardio, choreography, and bounce (a trampoline-based workout) Define- strength classes
These 13 High-Street Pieces Are Ideal for Summer
June 23, 2020 at 11:00AM After spending an inordinate amount of time on Instagram (because what else was there to do this month?), I discovered that there are a few high-street items that influencers have nabbed and look incredible. However, I haven’t just put everything in that’s trending—I’ve kept it to items I genuinely love and could imagine wearing now and well into next year. There’s that & Other Stories oversized blazer that continues to be a staple of plenty of influencers’ wardrobes, a pair of fun pink trousers and a white top from Topshop that you’ll get so much wear out of this summer. There’s also a very chic knitted hoodie and sweatpants co-ord that will serve you well, especially if you’re spending a lot of time at home. Plus plenty more pieces too. While I wouldn’t suggest to go out and splash the cash on everything you’ve been eyeing up this month, there are a few trending summer offerings that I think are worth investing in. Ready to meet your new favourite items? Keep scrolling… Style Notes: Okay, so this & Other Stories cardigan sold out almost immediately, but there are plenty of others from the store that are still available. My favourite colour is an off-white/cream hue that’s ideal for wearing with blue jeans. Style Notes: Polka dots are a big trend again this spring/summer 2020 but this year it’s all about oversized versions or interesting colours. This H&M dress fits that bill. Style Notes: Need a wardrobe perk-me-up? Pink trousers might just be the way
