All you need to know about Boris Johnson’s fiancée – Mirror Online Boris Johnson’s fiancée Carrie Symonds has given birth to a baby boy, just days after Prime Minister returned to work. It’s understood the Prime Minister was with his 32-year-old partner throughout the birth at a London hospital, with the boy being delivered on Wednesday morning. Their baby was born two months to the day after her pregnancy – and their engagement – was announced on Instagram. The news makes Mr Johnson just the fourth Prime Minister in 150 years to have a baby while in office, and is believed to be at least Mr Johnson’s sixth child. Her due date has never been publicly revealed, and today’s announcement comes nine months after the couple moved into Downing Street and three months after Mr Johnson was fighting for his life in intensive care with coronavirus. Early life and education Carrie Symonds is the daughter of Matthew Symonds, founder of The Independent, and one of the paper’s lawyers, Josephine McAffee. Her education saw her attend the £20,000-a-year Godolphin and Latymer School in Hammersmith, west London. She went on to read theatre studies and history of art at the University of Warwick, graduating with a first class degree in 2009.
