My notes for quarantine
Use up all the travel sized beauty products – as sadly we won’t use them for a long time. And use them up before they expire. Usually we receive skincare some samples which we normally would only use when we are travelling. Out of all my travel sized products, 80% of them have been only used once or twice. So I decided to use them up. Set up a postive dress up code for working from home. For me, it is always the fitted outfit and elegent jewellery that make me feel up-lifting and professional at work. Same at home really. Instead of fitted dress, I have dug out all the fitted t-shirts and leggings as well as jewellery pieces either a bit “too much” for work (e.g. too chucky, too funcky, too shiny) or “too expensive” that I will not wear for day to day office work. I found two benfits out of this: a) I can always clearly see if I have gained “quarantine weights” everytime walk by my mirror. b) I can try two or three types of outfit (if I want) with different matching jewellery and take picutres of it for future reference.
