May 18, 2020 at 07:50PM Kim Kardashian is back at it with a new Skims collection called Summer Mesh, and, of course, she’s the first to model the new styles. Kim showed off the collection of breathable, ultra-soft mesh styles, which are designed to stretch and cling to your body, with a series of photo booth images shot on her laptop. Not to Be Corny, but I’m Just Really Digging Millie Bobby Brown’s Chic Gardening Outfit
May 18, 2020 at 07:27PM Unlike the average teen, Millie Bobby Brown is a style icon in her own right. While I wore tacky graphic tees and too-short shorts over leggings as a 16-year-old, the Stranger Things actress is out here looking extremely chic in a wide brim hat and Birkenstocks. Cool, cool. Of course, it’s no surprise she continues to serve looks while self-isolating at home. In a recent Instagram post, Millie wore an effortless boho outfit while building a garden, according to her caption. Her outfit consisted of an olive green hat and matching high-waisted shorts, classic Birkenstocks, and a puff-sleeve crop top from Urban Outfitters that’s unfortunately sold out online. Not that I ever get into the weeds, but if I did, I’d certainly like to be wearing Millie’s outfit. Keep scrolling to shop her exact sandals, plus similar items to successfully recreate her look. BRB, Admiring Harry Styles’s “Watermelon Sugar” Music Video Outfits – Don’t Text
May 18, 2020 at 07:11PM Don’t bother texting or calling me for the rest of this week, because I plan on spending the vast majority of my time watching Harry Styles’s “Watermelon Sugar” music video on a loop just to fully wrap my head around his incredible outfits. In the highly anticipated video, the Fine Line singer frolics on a beach and sensually munches on an entire year’s worth of watermelon slices and strawberries whilst simultaneously blessing us with all the summer style inspiration we could possibly need. Now that’s what I call multitasking. Harry wears not one, not two, but four looks total in the three-minute masterpiece, including a smattering of designs by his favorite label (Gucci, duh), plus fun vintage sunglasses and bold prints galore. Every outfit has a retro, ’70s-style vibe that most definitely has me on a (watermelon sugar) high, if I do say so myself. Ahead, get up close and personal with all four of Harry’s latest music video outfits, which most definitely deserve a spot on your summer outfit mood board. J Lo’s Electric-Pink Gown From 2018’s AMAs Is Being Auctioned Off For Coronavirus Relief
May 18, 2020 at 04:49PM Georges Chakra is one of the many designers who are doing their part to help combat COVID-19 – with a little help from Jennifer Lopez. The Lebanese designer, who has created countless showstopping red carpet designs over the years, is auctioning off a gorgeous look worn by the singer. Georges has teamed up with Chic Relief, a charity helping combat the coronavirus pandemic, to auction off the couture gown J Lo wore to the 2018 American Music Awards. The Fall/Winter 2018 Couture gown comes in an electrifying hot-pink hue made from a silk chiffon material. If you remember, J Lo stunned fans in the sexy halterneck number, which featured side cutouts, a daring thigh-high slit, and black velvet cage detailing on the back. It even featured a cape that J Lo showed off while twirling on the red carpet. If you’re hoping to get the gown worn by Jennifer, you’ll find it available on eBay from May 17 to May 27 until 4 p.m. PT. One-hundred percent of the proceeds from the sale will go to Direct Relief. The best part is eBay will be matching the funds raised by the dress for up to $1 million and will help provide protective gear, along with other support, to front-line medical workers across the world. When We Start Wearing Real Clothes Again, I’m Only Interested in Re-Creating Julia Roberts’s ’90s Style
May 18, 2020 at 11:01AM There are people with personal style so good, trends are created in their likeness. Here’s where I make a motion to live out the rest of 2020 dressed like Julia Roberts in the ’90s. With celebrity style – and fashion trends in general – invoking a decidedly ’90s spirit, the opportunity presented itself: I remembered the blazer, white tee, and slim-fit denim Julia wears at the end of Pretty Woman, one of the most perfect (and underrated) outfits of all time. From there, I went down a rabbit hole, revisiting Julia’s ’90s aesthetic, style stalking vintage paparazzi shots of Julia in a ditsy-print floral dress and ankle boots, or cropped t-shirts and wide-leg pants. Much the way Princess Diana’s biker shorts and trainers have become a ubiquitous fashion reference as of late, inspiring looks from Hailey Baldwin and Kendall Jenner, Julia’s looks from the ’90s are a whole mood of their own, worthy of celebrating and replicating, whenever it is that we all start getting dressed again. Here I’ve pulled my favorites, the ones representative of her cool, pared-down personal take on denim, menswear, and even event dressing. Take cues from the woman who did ’90s style best – and first. 6 Sandal Trends You Don’t Want to Miss This Summer
May 18, 2020 at 11:00AM After weeks of not really wearing shoes other than workout sneakers, a sandal seems oddly practical at the moment. This season is filled with trends that are not only stylish but also comfortable. Channeling ’90s and early ‘2000s nostalgia, many of these trends are definitely a throwback – think chunky flatforms, sporty sandals, and gladiators. I’m envisioning easy summer go-tos like Tevas and a cotton slip dress or gladiators with cutoff denim shorts and knit tanks. Continue Reading… Author Dana Avidan Cohn | Popsugar Selected by CWC
16 Kate Hudson Movie Outfits I’m Saving in My Back Pocket For Spring
May 18, 2020 at 11:00AM Kate Hudson‘s early 2000s movies are my prime suggestion right now for content worth absorbing during the lockdown. You’re probably like, “Yes Sarah, we know. You already dressed up like her *eye roll*.” But it’s not just How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days that’s chock-full of outfits I’d rather be wearing. I still watch Fool’s Gold obsessively before packing my bag for the beach because Kate’s character Tess reminds me to include my printed headband – no bikini is complete without it! And I still eagerly await Liv’s next outfit in Bride Wars, even though I’ve seen that movie like 10,000 times. But IDK man, that strapless Vera Wang wedding gown just gets more and more majestic every time I see it. Right now though, I’m hyper-focused on the everyday looks that I can memorize as I slowly build up my Spring wardrobe in anticipation of better, brighter days ahead. Being that a lot of 2020 trends involve incorporating styles we saw gain popularity in the late ’90s/early aughts, the characters Kate Hudson plays in some of her greatest films – You, Me and Dupree, Le Divorce, Raising Helen, and the list goes on – are filling up my mood board. Scroll down to see which outfits I fully intend on re-creating, and just try to pick a favorite. The Most “Nontraditional” Brides in the Movies I Love – Who Needs a Wedding Gown?
May 18, 2020 at 11:00AM Now that I’m spending a lot of time at home, I figure I should start thinking about that wedding that I’ve got coming up in a year, for which I am the bride. Even though I have eccentric everyday style, my bridal taste is a lot more simple or nontraditional. I’m still not sure what my wedding dress will look like, but I figure why not take inspiration from one of the sources I’m quite familiar with these days: movies. I recently put together a list of casual brides IRL, (I’ll always love that Emily Ratajkowski wore a marigold Zara suit to City Hall to tie the knot, for example), but some iconic moments in film do come straight to mind. I can narrate almost every scene from 1998’s The Parent Trap, including the one where Hallie (who is pretending to be Annie) asks her mother, Elizabeth James, about her wedding to Nick Parker after coming home from summer camp. “Actually, I didn’t even wear a wedding dress,” Elizabeth tells her as she recounts a very small snippet of the wedding we so gratifyingly get to see in the opening scene of the movie aboard the Queen Elizabeth II cruise ship. Elizabeth wore a classic white sheath with spaghetti straps and a slightly fuller skirt for the occasion, but really, it was something one might have packed for a black-tie dinner on a cruise ship in the early ’90s. It wasn’t extravagant or your typical
