May 18, 2020 at 11:00AM Once upon a time (OK, like two years ago), I threw my lace underwear, padded t-shirt bras, and bralettes in with the rest of my laundry. This is how I had done the wash for all of my life, or since my mother taught me “the rules” and I ran off to college. Yes, back in college, I only separated my wardrobe by color when doing the laundry, eventually finding that my delicate underthings were shredding and I had to reinvest in lingerie sets more often than what seemed normal. Then I started doing my research. After talking to a DKNY lingerie spokesperson and learning that I should probably pick up a mesh lingerie bag to eliminate snares and pulls, I took things one step further and tapped my friends over at Lively, along with Erin Rittling, senior manager of Aerie styling, for even more tips and tricks. Dude, it was about time I became a bra-washing pro! Sure enough, the aforementioned lingerie separates bag changed my life and has prolonged my time with some of my favorite intimates – especially those beautiful lacy bralettes. Now that I’ve heard advice from Aerie and Lively, too, I’m even saving money on my electric bill by opting for fewer cycles and cleaning my bras with cool water and mild detergent in the sink. It didn’t take long before I was propped up in bed, ice cream pint in hand, transfixed on one of Rachel’s baseball tees. The same thing happened again when I saw Chandler in his waffle henley. I thought to myself, “This is all the stuff I want to be wearing right now!” Yep, somehow, none of my own sweat sets could compare to the screen style on Friends. It’s true – Ross, Chandler, Phoebe, Rachel, Monica, and Joey each stuck to their own signature casual aesthetic while lounging in the apartment, but they all owned pieces that were like, way stylish for athleisure-wear in the ’90s. I always knew I was into how Rachel dressed in her miniskirts, tights, and boots, and that I loved the way Monica wore mom jeans, so wasn’t it obvious that the best place to seek work-from-home style was right here on Friends too? My $35 Boyfriend Jeans Are Sweatpants-Level Comfortable

That’s why I jumped at the chance to order these Old Navy Extra High-Waisted Boyfriend Straight Jeans ($35, originally $40) – they arrived to the comfort of my home, hassle-free. May 16, 2020 at 09:03PM I’ve always relished in the power of self-expressive fashion. Before social distancing and self-isolation, piecing together an outfit was my favorite morning task. That being said, when we started staying home, I enjoyed languidly rotating through my collection of hoodies and sweatpants, if only for the convenience factor. But, after a while, that began to lose its luster and even take a toll on my energy levels at work. Writer’s block reared its ugly head more times than usual, and it became a bit harder for me to stay focused. That’s when I found myself gravitating toward band tees and tour merch. To give my solid-color hoodies a wide berth, I rummaged through my clothes for something cute, comfy, and energizing. Lo and behold, I extricated a Jimi Hendrix tee that I bought months ago but hadn’t worn yet. After even more digging, I found another shirt with the Voodoo Child printed on the front, as well as a Beyoncé crop tee and a Brockhampton sweatshirt. Skims Just Launched Seamless Face Masks – and Is Donating 10,000 of ‘Em to Charity

On May 16, Kim Kardashian‘s shapewear brand released a collection of seamless masks that have elastic bands and are “soft and breathable for all-day wear,” according to the press release. In true Kim style, they come in five muted colors that’ll match with just about anything: Sand (off-white), Clay (beige), Sienna (light brown), Cocoa (dark brown), and Onyx (black). To help support ongoing coronavirus relief efforts, Skims is donating 10,000 of the nonmedical face masks to the following nonprofit organizations: Good+Foundation, Baby2Baby, LA Food Bank, and National Domestic Workers Alliance. This move comes after the brand previously pledged to donate $1 million to be allocated across the same charities.
