May 15, 2020 at 06:41PM Meghan Markle might have stepped away from royal life, but that hasn’t stopped some media outlets – and public figures – from trying to exploit her image. While rumors run rampant, one thing is for sure, the Duchess of Sussex is “warm and welcoming, completely disarming and joyful in every way,” said Meghan’s wedding dress designer Clare Waight Keller. Clare is one of Givenchy’s most buzzy appointments for creative director. Although she has now left the brand, she’s given a beautiful parting gift – sharing what it’s really like to work with Meghan and the details behind the duchess’s iconic wedding dress. In a lengthy Instagram caption, Clare said that working with Meghan was one of the most joyful experiences of her three years at Givenchy. “From the very beginning everything felt different from what I would have expected. She was modern, with a fresh approach, warm and welcoming, completely disarming and joyful in every way,” Clare wrote on her personal Instagram page. “We struck it off instantly and a friendship began. Fittings were always a special time to chat, just us, it was a time of getting to know each other’s history and there are many memorable moments. But above it all is a connection between two people that come from completely different paths in life. Friendship is about love, understanding and kindness. A good friend knows your stories and also helps you write them.” Image Source: Getty / Joe Maher There is none

Vans Launches New Backless Mules, and My Feet Are Breathing Sweet Sighs of Relief
May 15, 2020 at 05:57PM Vans launched a new “Mule Family” pack, available to shop as of May 15 on the website. While there are some unique colorways sprouting up on Instagram, they could be dedicated to specific regions, so we’re bringing you the styles available in the US right here. While it’s not the much-loved sneaker brand‘s first foray into mules – the classic Old Skool has been reimagined as a mule before – a lot of these new designs feature fresh details like full-grain leather uppers and UltraCush footbeds for comfort. Not to mention the fact that your feet will also be glad to have a little fresh air while you walk around this summer. Whether you’re into the classic black-and-white checkerboard or the true white with a patent finish, you’ll definitely want to keep these babies in rotation. Goodness knows they’ll be getting lots of wear. I personally can’t wait to style them with my cutoff bermuda shorts and white ribbed tanks, so I couldn’t be happier that they come in neutral shades that will pretty much go with everything. Scroll through to see the five options, which range in price from $60 to $62, and scoop up your favorite pair ahead of the season. Katy Perry Looks Straight Out of an Anthropologie Ad in Her Music-Video Dresses
May 15, 2020 at 05:10PM Katy Perry‘s music-video outfits never disappoint. Just two months after wowing us with a Midsommar-inspired look for her “Never Worn White” video, the mom-to-be went a decidedly more pared-down route for her latest single, “Daisies.” At the start of the ethereal music video, Katy frolics through a yellow-flower-covered forest wearing an off-white slip dress with lacy detailing and polka-dot stitching. She styles the vintage-looking gown with a long, matching kimono, both of which she removes entirely before wading into the waters of a babbling brook. The video then cuts to a new scene – and a new though similar outfit. Katy is standing atop a rock at sunset in a shorter off-white slip dress and cover-up flowing in the wind. Her growing baby bump is fully on display as she belts out lyrics about the beauty of dreaming and believing in magic. The video could practically double as a CoverGirl ad, because she truly looks “easy, breezy, and beautiful” the entire time. Ahead, take a closer look at both of the dreamy, summery dresses Katy wears in her latest music video. It’s Official – Paris, Milan, and London Fashion Week Are All Going Digital This Summer
May 15, 2020 at 04:22PM It looks like we’ll be seeing a lot more digital fashion shows this summer. The coronavirus pandemic has caused the fashion industry to change its regular Fashion Week format for the next few seasons, and many major events like the Met Gala, the CFDA Awards, and the Cannes Film Festival have all been postponed indefinitely. We’ve already seen designers like Jacquemus adapt to the new normal by creating fashion campaigns shot via FaceTime starring celebrities like Bella Hadid. Carine Roitfeld even turned her CR Runway show into an online event that premiered live on YouTube, as did Vogue with its virtual event A Moment With the Met. The British Fashion Council announced that London Fashion Week would be taking place online in June this year. The new digital format will allow brands to showcase collections in whatever format they want, ranging from a virtual runway show all the way to a podcast. Milan Fashion Week will be hosting the first Milan Digital Fashion Week from July 14 to July 17 for the men’s Spring 2021 collections, as well as women’s and men’s precollections for next spring. As for Paris Fashion Week, the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode announced that shows from July 9 to 13 will also follow suit, and designers will be able to showcase their new collections solely through video formats. Crocs Thoughtfully Expands Its Shoe Donations to Servers, Cooks, Delivery Drivers, and More
May 15, 2020 at 03:53PM After Crocs successfully launched its “free pair for healthcare” initiative in March, the brand is generously taking its donations a step further. On Friday, May 15, the company is transitioning into its “Pairs That Care” phase, which allows “servers, line cooks, grocery store attendants, delivery drivers, retail employees, and anyone else that has been significantly affected by the [COVID-19] crisis” to sign up for free shoes via the website at 12 p.m. ET. Crocs will continue to grant donations until the day’s fulfillment has been allotted and kindly asks people to take advantage if they are in need of shoes that are easy to clean for their line of work or unsure where their next paycheck is coming from. Not only is Crocs working hard to make sure to distribute shoes, its leaders are brainstorming even more ways to give back while people continue to struggle. The brand will resume sending shoes to healthcare workers on Monday, May 18. POPSUGAR asked Crocs to share some behind-the-scenes photos of those who are helping to deliver the shoes, or healthcare workers who have shown the brand their gratitude so far. “We’ve seen tons of comments and DMs across our social channels from people all over the country who have received shoes as a part of Crocs’ recent donation efforts,” Crocs assured us. Read ahead for a look at the Crocs community, and spread the word about Pairs That Care if you know someone in need. Related: Shop While Giving

I Swapped My Sweatpants For These $11 Aerie Leggings, and They’re SO Comfy
May 14, 2020 at 10:36PM I’ll be the first to admit that my closet is full of sweatsuit sets, but I’m already getting bored of them (I never thought the day would come.) I decided to give leggings another try because not only are they season-less, but I also love that they double as workout wear while still allowing me to be extremely comfy. While I’ve tested out plenty of leggings in my time, I have to admit that I was surprised by how much I loved Aerie’s Chill Leggings ($11, originally $16). I’ve had fails with other leggings in the washing machine, and I was skeptical whether the material would hold up after a couple of washes, but boy, was I wrong! I’ve worn them at least once a week for the past two months now, and they show no sign of wear and tear. I wear them when I’m just hanging out at home – I’m actually wearing them as I write this, LOL – and when I work out. The fabric is ultrasoft, and the waistband sucks in everything without being uncomfortable, a huge bonus when it comes to leggings! I also particularly love the fact that sweat stains aren’t too visible when you work out in them, which is an issue I’ve come across with light-colored leggings in the past. If gray is not your cup of tea, don’t worry, because these affordable leggings are also available in plum, black, and camo green. Read on to
