April 22, 2020 at 10:10PM As a brand, Revolve has launched the Around Our Heroes initiative to help in a big way with the mask shortage our country is facing during the coronavirus pandemic. This isn’t just a corporate endeavor, it’s also a way for Revolve to partner with its biggest in-house fashion designers, like Nicole Richie of House of Harlow 1960, Camila Coelho, and Pia Baroncini of LPA, to help support the cause. Revolve has a goal of procuring one million masks for those on the front lines in hospitals and healthcare facilities, this coming after Christian Siriano, Ralph Lauren, and Brandon Maxwell announced their own tremendous contributions and pledges to donate to coronavirus relief funds. Revolve’s brand partners, like House of Harlow, Camila Coelho Collection, and LPA, will be responsible for donating an additional 50,000 masks collectively, and they spoke to POPSUGAR about how they’re promoting good vibes within their own homes and keeping morale high for their teams as they all work from home and adjust to this new way of life. Clearly, fashion inspiration is important to all of them – Nicole, Camila, and Pia all continue to dress up for themselves as a powerful way to start the day and set the tone for success. Scroll for our conversation, as we touch on their personal routines and their outlook on the fashion industry as a whole. Whitney Port Is Dressing Up Like Classic Movie Characters on Instagram – Can We Join?
April 22, 2020 at 09:03PM Whitney Port is one of the latest celebrities to create a fun fashion Instagram challenge while staying at home. While a lot of us have been lounging at home in sweats and watching movies, Whitney came up with an idea that got her creative juices flowing and made use out of her wardrobe. (Looks like she’s not the only one who is sick of wearing sweats.) In the challenge, she teamed up with her stylists Kara and Brit Elkin to dress up as characters from classic movies. She asked fans to comment on who they think she is and reveals the correct answer in her IGS later in the day. Another thing we love about the challenge? The outfits she wears will include small fashion brands that are struggling at the moment due to the coronavirus pandemic. Whitney started off the challenge easy by posting a picture of herself dressed up as Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz. She wore a blue gingham Smythe dress, a wicker basket bag by Storets, and red flats by AGL shoes. Read on to see all of the creative outfits she came up with and see if you can guess what movie character she dressed up as. “Shut . . . UP!” Anne Hathaway Just Took on the Pillow Challenge, Princess Diaries Style
April 22, 2020 at 07:07PM View this post on Instagram A post shared by Anne Hathaway (@annehathaway) on Apr 22, 2020 at 7:52am PDT Ladies and gentlemen, kindly join me in bowing down to Anne Hathaway, who just knocked Instagram’s popular #PillowChallenge out of the freakin’ park. The actress channeled her Princess Diaries character, Mia Thermopolis, to take on the social media trend, which challenges participants to transform a pillow into a stylish dress. All I have to say is: “Shut . . . up!” Whereas most #PillowChallenge acceptors have simply belted one pillow to themselves and called it a day, Anne somehow managed to fashion three cushions – two white and one blue – into a layered gown of sorts, and used accessories to truly unleash her inner Princess of Genovia. The 37-year-old star donned black sunglasses and headphones and wore her hair slicked back, just like she did while posing for the 2001 Disney movie’s official poster. Plus, she slipped into some black combat boots that Mia would definitely approve of. I mean, did she totally nail it or what?! Related: 7 Style Moments From The Princess Diaries That Will Forever Be Etched in My Mind The cherry on top was definitely Anne’s caption. She quoted none other than her on-screen grandmother, Queen Clarisse Renaldi, writing, “A Queen is never late; everyone else is simply early.” Consider this my petition for other actresses to take on the #PillowChallenge as their most iconic movie characters – I mean, imagine

Opening Ceremony x Beastie Boys Released a Clothing Collection, So What’cha, What’cha, What’cha Want?
April 22, 2020 at 04:58PM Opening Ceremony has teamed up with legendary New York hip-hop group Beastie Boys on a limited-edition collection retailing on Farfetch, consisting of graphic pieces inspired by their most iconic music. The special collection celebrates the band’s legacy and the release of Spike Jonze’s new documentary and photo book about the Beastie Boys. The director is a longtime friend of and collaborator with the group, and the documentary tells the story of the band’s legacy and cultural significance across both music and fashion. The Apple TV+ documentary is releasing just in time to celebrate the 26th anniversary of the release of Beastie Boys’ album Ill Communication. According to the press release, “Opening Ceremony curated a list of iconic artists (including those connected with the band) to re-interpret one of the Beastie Boys’ album covers with their own design. Additionally, Opening Ceremony designed a special piece inspired by the band’s own style legacy: a jumpsuit, as a nod to the famous one-piece uniforms worn by Beastie Boys during the 2004 MTV Music Awards and in their music video for ‘Intergalactic.’ This piece is emblazoned with the traditional Beastie Boys logo.” OC worked with artists Raymond Pettibon, Nejc Prah, Geoff McFetridge, Kim Gordon, and Bill McMullen to continue Farfetch’s efforts to #SupportBoutiques. In terms of pricing, the collection begins at $130 for the rad graphic tees, and the jumpsuit is the most expensive at $560. Read on to shop some of our favorite selects. Related: We Can Already

The $28 Sweats That Make Me Question If I’ll Ever Need “Real” Pants Again
April 22, 2020 at 04:50PM Even before the world was staying home, you could find me curled up in my apartment in some iteration of comfy loungewear on any given night and every weekend. Some of it cute, but most of it questionable – mismatched pajamas or ripped and pilled sweats and trackpants. Then, when I started working from home daily and wearing lounge clothes on repeat, it got to me. While there is nowhere to go and no one to dress for, pleasing myself became enough of a reason to find a great pair of sweats that could serve both fashion and function. Turns out, the right pair was an unlikely contender I had snagged on a whim while walking by the Brandy Melville store in my neighborhood a few months back. Let me preface this by saying, I don’t frequent Brandy Melville. It’s not on my usual list of shopping destinations, and when I say a “whim,” it is in the most literal sense of the word. I walked by on my way to pick up takeout, and there they were hanging in the window with a cropped top (that I did not purchase). Still, I stopped, admiring the vintage look and the perfect heather-gray color. It was enough to get me into the store and at the checkout counter all in under two minutes – and without actually trying them on. I threw them on at home, wore them with t-shirts and sneakers running errands, and added

See Barbie Ferreira’s “Quarantine Givenchy Boot” Outfit in All Its Artistic Glory
April 22, 2020 at 04:00PM I’m sure Barbie Ferreira’s latest Instagram put a smile on everyone’s face. I couldn’t help but break out into the widest grin when I saw her “Quarantine Givenchy Boot Piece” in all its artistic glory living on my feed this morning. Relatable? The fact that Barbie was wearing an oversize graphic t-shirt with a subtle tie-dye fade to it while cooped up at home. I mean, I’m pretty sure I just wore mine yesterday (or was it the day before?). Not so relatable? The fact that she’s lounging around in boots that originally retailed for upwards of $1,500 and saw many red carpets in the highlight of their day. But alas, Barbie is an actress, and the Euphoria star has certainly mastered her own sense of style with the help of stylist Chris Horan. It’s a look that I’d call high-fashion edge meets athleisure, and clearly her stay home aesthetic mirrors that to a T. While I’m definitely not in the market for her sea-green boots at the moment, I’m all about her idea for “lampshading,” as we like to call it, aka wearing an oversize top with thigh-high boots – and her lived-in tee fits the bill. I’m sure we all can agree that even though we’re sheltering in place, sometimes it can feel nice to get lost in a game of dress up. Scroll down to see how to do it Barbie’s way.
