June 15, 2021 at 02:15PM Lately, every time I post or comment, a super-model looking lady shows up in my messages, eager to chat. Six this week so far. They start with something like, “Hey I’m Naomi from Los Angeles. I usually don’t do this but I saw your comment and thought I’d say hi.” It used to be that I’d only get contacted by obviously fake accounts (new and with few comments or posts), but the market is down, fewer newbies to rob, so the scammers are working overtime these days. Some of the scammer accounts have long post and comment histories, some have actually solid comments about crypto. They look like they could be real. And of course, the women look like super models, so I want them to be interested in me. Yesterday, for about 30 seconds, I convinced myself that a woman who looked like Beyoncé was deeply interested in me. After all, I’m a nice person and they can’t all be scammers, right? Then she came out with it: “Let me tell you about Forex trading.” TLDR for new people: If someone pops up in your messages, they are almost certainly trying to scam you. I want to tell you that my mom is hospitalized atm. Nothing serious just some safety checks because of some troubles she has with her heart. However doctors don't know whether her condition will improve or get worse in the future. Anyway. I had to close my eyes many times while being here I even sang songs in my head to overhear the suffer of really ill Men/Women/Children. I am fucking crying while typing this because I only can imagine what deathsick people are going through… what families are going through. If you hear a person that cries and begs to stay alive you will feel ashamed of the moments you thought your life is bad. At the moment I'd give every cent I made since I started investing in crypto just to make sure my mom can live for another 100 years. Dear crypto community. I don't wish you gains and lambos and slut cocaine parties. I wish you all to stay healthy and to live life. Now! Don't wait. Life goes faster then you think. I've seen countless posts of people putting money they can't afford to lose into ETH and Doge and BTC when it's at the height of the market because "ITS GOING TO THE MOON!!!". Hell I saw one women sell her house to buy Crypto… I'm all for Crypto – I think it's great and it's here to stick around. HOWEVER. Here are a few things you should know… A) Buying these Alt-Coins when they're at .00000001 cent is like going to Vegas half the time – it's a true gamble. "Invest" what you can afford to lose. A friend of mine took half of his savings and bought Bonfire a day ago. It dropped like 50%, he sold it, and by the time he transferred it out he was left with like 12% of his original investment B) The people who make REAL money in these markets had money to play with. April 19, 2021 at 06:40AM As my investments grow, I realized I've been doing this on my own. Its not like I'm hiding anything from my wife. She knows how much I've invested, she just doesn't know how to access it in case something happens. I'm currently writing everything up for her, and leaving it in our safe. I suggest for the married men/women out there, set a plan. Or something set up for your kids/next of kin. Write it down and keep it safe. Update it regularly, and walk them through it on occasion. But wait I hear you say, "How is a whole ass country currency is that volatile?" Well, it is because the whole country's fate is decided by the whims of one man. The dude has decided it was a good idea to ban a law that protects women's rights in a country with one femicide per day anf fire the governor of the central bank pretty much in the same sentence. In the middle of the fucking night. When %90 of the people whose life was basically destroyed by him were sleeping. Worst of it all his supporters were celebrating on the streets, saying the ban is good for preserving "Turkish family values" and "their way of life", most of the supporters being women. Also, the governor that he fired made a public statement thanking the president for firing him lmao. The already collapsing economy got worse by Covid and the half asses lockdowns that were put in place, where it is not allowed for a restaurant to serve food even in an open area but it is allowed for millions of people kissing and hugging each other on the streets because Hagia Sophia was turned into a mosque by, you guessed it, the wishes of the president, who is also okay with getting 100k people together
