June 24, 2020 at 05:00AM Sandal brand Arizona Love popped up on my radar last year when I spotted a steady stream of Instagram influencers wearing the printed trek sandals. Jessie Bush, Erica Davies and our very own Who What Wear columnist Monikh were all spotted wearing the shoes. There was only one problem: They kept selling out. Thankfully, the brand has created even more styles and has been restocked on various online retailers. Much like the Velcro “dad” sandals by Chanel, Teva‘s classic hikers and all the other iterations before and after, these are sandals of the practical variety. While they’re a traditional hiking style, the multicoloured fabric wrapped around the straps makes them so much more fun. The brand was started only a couple of years by French designer Leslie Halfon, but it’s become a real fashion-insider score and completely sold out last summer. So take it from us: You’ll want to get your hands on these pretty quickly before it happens again. Style Notes: Always joyful and colourful, Zeena Shah shows us how to wear these sandals by matching them to your outfit. Style Notes: Matching colours and patterns. Style Notes: These pearl versions look good with everything. Style Notes: Trust Monikh to be wearing one of the biggest sandal brands around right now. Style Notes: More proof that these look excellent with a summer dress. Style Notes: If you need some pedi inspo, then might we suggest a bold red for the leopard-print versions? Style Notes: Another great thing about these sandals is that, despite the bold patterns, they

Exclusive: Up Close With L’Oréal Paris’s New Muse Katherine Langford
June 23, 2020 at 04:26PM Katherine Langford has a brand new gig, and while it may not be able to snag her another Golden Globes Award nomination, it does add her name to an impressive roster of lauded global ambassadors such as Viola Davis, Céline Dion, Eva Longoria and Helen Mirren. Today, beauty behemoth L’Oréal Paris has named the 24-year-old actress as the brand’s newest face. The Perth, Australia-born breakout star is famously known for playing Hannah Baker in the 2017 Netflix hit series 13 Reasons Why, as well as starring in the 2018 coming-of-age teen drama Love, Simon. What’s more, Langford plays the lead role in the upcoming Netflix series Cursed (dropping in July), a TV adaptation of the illustrated novel by legendary comic book artist Frank Miller and writer Tom Wheeler. In celebration of her new partnership with L’Oréal Paris, we spoke to Langford ahead of the global announcement about beauty and her budding career. On her everyday beauty look: “When I’m working, I wear makeup for 16 hours a day, and I do full glam for press events. So, when I’m not working, my everyday is a ‘no-makeup’ look, and I really like to take care of my skin. I always wear a good sunscreen and moisturizer. When I go out, I’ll definitely wear a brow and maybe some mascara.” On her red carpet glam squad: “I feel very lucky to be able to work with some of the best people out there. My teams is amazing,
My Story: Kawennáhere Devery Jacobs on Queer Indigenous Representation in the Entertainment Industry
June 23, 2020 at 04:17PM Born and raised in the Kanien’kehá:ka Mohawk Territory in Quebec, actress Kawennáhere Devery Jacobs has made a name for herself playing roles as wide-ranging as a teenager dealing with the repercussions of the residential school system in Rhymes For Young Ghouls and “a badass werewolf” on the Netflix show The Order. Currently based in Toronto, the 26-year-old actress has also written and directed some of her own projects, which reflect her experience and perspective as a queer Indigenous woman. Now, during National Indigenous History Month, she has partnered up with Made Nous (a Canadian entertainment industry-wide initiative) to spotlight Indigenous artists—actors, writers, filmmakers and others. Here, she shares, in her own words, how she got her start, the kinds of projects she’s drawn to, and why it’s important for there to be more Indigenous representation in front of and behind the camera. On growing up: I always wanted to act, since before I even knew that it was a career. I would always make home videos, and force my sister to direct them and act in them with me. I also [participated] in the Turtle Island Theatre Company, which is a small community theatre on my reserve. It was through that that my mom saw how much I loved performing. She submitted me, without my knowledge, to an agency in Quebec. They accepted and then she sat me down and asked if it was something that I wanted to do and if it was, that
Kate Moss’ Cycling Outfit Is as Chic as You’d Expect
June 23, 2020 at 12:09PM Since social distancing measures were put in place in the UK in late March, there seems to have been a few trending hobbies that have emerged on social media. Initially, everyone with an Instagram account was baking banana bread, and then we all developed a collective obsession with puzzles. Though now, with restrictions loosened, it seems we’ve moved on from indoor activities as according to The Guardian, there has been a drastic increase in bike sales across the UK. In fact, the publication reported sales have tripled and repair shops are the busiest they’ve been in decades. As always, Kate Moss seems to be right on trend, as the super was seen out riding a bike in the Cotswolds this week. For her leisurely outing, Moss chose to don the ultimate bike outfit, opting for a relaxed polo top, black skinny jeans and a pair of timeless ballet flats. Both classic and practical, Moss’ monotone look felt right at home amongst the idyllic countryside backdrop. While floral patterns and bright prints are often the go-to for summer, there’s something so undeniably timeless about Moss’ choice to keep it simple. We’ll be taking this as inspiration for our next afternoon cycle. Keep scrolling to see Kate’s look and shop similar below. Next up, the biggest S/S 20 fashion trends you need to know. obé fitness review (my thoughts + are the workouts good?)
June 23, 2020 at 11:18AM Sharing my full review of the obé fitness platform, my favorite instructors, pros, cons, and if the workouts are good. Hey friends! Hope you’re having a good morning. It’s the usual routine over here – catching a virtual barre class and then hitting the pool with the babies later if it isn’t too smoky outside. The fire in Tucson is still horrible and the smoke has clouded the city for the past few days. I’m crossing my fingers that it can be contained soon! For today’s post, I wanted to share my thoughts on the obé fitness platform now that I’ve had some time to try different workouts and instructors. I mentioned before that signed up for obé was kind of an accident. I did the free 7-day trial because I wanted to take more of Amanda Kloots’ workouts (I’ve loved her dance cardio for years) and when I called to cancel it, it was over the weekend and the office was closed. Since I paid for a month, I kept trying more classes, and called to cancel it and they gave me a sweet deal for the following month. So, here we are, and I have to say, I’ve really enjoyed some of the workouts I’ve found. obé fitness review What is obé fitness? It’s an online fitness platform featuring 26-minute workouts in three different segments: Sweat – cardio-focused workouts, like HIIT training, dance cardio, choreography, and bounce (a trampoline-based workout) Define- strength classes
