For the U.K.’s Maternal Mental Health Awareness Week, which beings tomorrow, Kate Middleton hopped on Zoom with midwives, health visitors, parents, and leading experts to talk about the impact that the coronavirus crisis has had on families and healthcare workers, per Entertainment Tonight. During her Zoom call rounds, the Duchess of Cambridge also talked to a new mom and dad in the U.K. after they welcomed their son. The mom, who was still in her hospital bed, spoke with the duchess, who expressed her best wishes to the couple. “Very nice to meet you,” Kate said, laughing, as she spoke to the new parents, who sat in their hospital room. “This is definitely a first, I think. The Duchess of Sussex is arguing the Mail on Sunday breached her privacy when it published excerpts of a handwritten, private letter she sent to her father Thomas Markle. Royal reporters Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand wrote that the judge struck out three categories of allegations. Scobie explained they were struck out on these grounds: “Publisher’s motive is not relevant in a privacy claim; Litigating the issues would be disproportionately complicated; and Elements had been introduced in a way that did not meet some procedural requirements.” He added that Meghan will not be appealing this ruling and the case will move forward. The Mail on Sunday’s legal rep, Scobie added, conceded this ruling “will not affect Meghan’s ability ‘to get home’ on the case.” The next hearing date is not set yet. Watching the soapy teen drama of Netflix’s Outer Banks left me longing for a tan, a fictional summer romance, and a sun-drenched vacation. But more than anything, it left me craving a second season that will make sense of the show’s wild final episode. The series follows the socioeconomic warfare between the elite Kooks and working class Pogues in the North Carolina region known as Outer Banks. “It’s the sort of place where you either have two jobs or two houses,” the show’s trailer explains. “Two tribes, one island.” At the show’s center is a treasure hunt for $400 million aboard a sunken ship. Along the way, there are love triangles and murder motives to satisfy all your horny and vindictive urges. If you, too, found yourself invested in a show that somehow satisfies your One Tree Hill, The Goonies, and Gossip Girl obsessions, here’s everything you need to know about a potential second season. There’s no confirmation or release date. Netflix has yet to officially renew the 10-episode drama, which was released on April 15. Archie, who was born on May 6 last year, is going to turn one in just a couple of weeks, and it sounds like Meghan and Harry already have at least one plan for how they’re going to celebrate. A spokesperson for the Sussexes told The Sunday Times that the couple plan to share a new photo of their son on his birthday. Harry and Meghan are no longer using their Sussex Royal Instagram account, but the spokesperson didn’t say how they would be sharing the photo. The family of three recently moved to Los Angeles after Harry and Meghan finished their final royal duties in London in March. They are reportedly quarantining in a secluded compound after leaving their home in Vancouver. Baby Archie hasn’t been back to the U.K., where he was born, since he and his parents went to Canada to spend the holidays. This means Archie also hasn’t seen the royal side of his family in months. Per a report from The Sunday Times, Queen Elizabeth and the rest of the royal family are “very sad” that they haven’t seen much of Archie in recent months. When Harry and Meghan went back to England last month, they didn’t bring Archie along. “Archie is the priority,” a source told People in February. “It’s very much still about taking care of him and putting the family first.
