May 07, 2020 at 08:33PM I was scrolling through TikTok one night when I came across a video of someone tie-dying their sneakers and ended up going down a rabbit hole of DIY videos. Since we have been staying at home, a lot of us have turned to tie-dying as a fun weekend activity. (If you’re looking for an at-home tutorial that uses inexpensive materials, check this one out!) While I have seen a TON of people delving into fashion DIY hacks with sweatshirts and hoodies, I never thought about my sneakers. Since I’m already a huge fan of tie-dye socks, I was utterly fascinated to see people take their stark white sneakers and give ’em a groovy makeover. It was interesting to see all of the different techniques people used to tie-dye their sneakers. It was also really cool to see all of the different types of sneakers people used, from Converse to Vans. She read a chapter from Miss Maple’s Seeds, which is written and illustrated by Eliza Wheeler. In the video, which was posted on her Instagram, Michelle wore a cool tie-dye cable-knit sweater. The long-sleeved sweater from Polo Ralph Lauren is currently marked down to $119 from its original price. We love that Michelle chose the groovy print for the video because of its nostalgic feel. There I was on a Thursday morning, mindlessly scrolling through Instagram Stories as a way to procrastinate getting out of bed, when I came across some handy information from Euphoria‘s Sydney Sweeney, who started her own book club and has been spending plenty of time poolside while social distancing. She was chilling on a blow-up ice cream float in a ribbed white one-piece and tie-dye bucket hat.
