When we reached out to our readers recently to ask what you wanted to see from us here at Who What Wear, more than anything, we heard requests for chic working-from-home looks for those whose routines have changed recently. We’ve enjoyed the novelty of the loungewear phase and already worked out what tops look great with leggings for our Zoom calls, but what we’re really craving now, especially with the sun shining, is pretty dresses. Something we’ve always championed is how easy dresses are to throw on in the morning. Just like a matching two-piece or a jumpsuit, a dress is a full outfit in itself, so it takes away any decision-making from your morning routine. Plus, we challenge you to choose to wear a dress tomorrow and not feel more put-together. Most dresses are inherently comfy, at least the below styles certainly are, so really, why the hell not chuck on a great dress for your working (from home) day? One pair of sandals that I’ve worn repeatedly over the past four summers is a pair of black block-heel sandals from & Other Stories. They’re classic, not too high and go with everything from jeans to midi dresses. They’re the kind of shoes I can easily wear in the office, as they’re not too high to walk around in, but they’ve also seen me through quite a few weddings. I Spent an Hour With VB’s Brow Expert—Here’s Everything I Learned
June 13, 2020 at 06:05AM When it comes to eyebrows, there’s one woman in the beauty industry who has become synonymous with perfect arches: Anastasia Soare. She’s the lady who started our worldwide obsession with brows. Yes, before Soare launched her eponymous brand Anastasia Beverly Hills with a flagship L.A. salon back in 1997—and a range of brow products in 2000—nobody gave two hoots about using makeup to shape their brows. (Trust me—photos of my sparse, over-plucked eyebrows in the early ’00s are proof enough.) Since then, Anastasia Beverly Hills has gone on to become the #1 brow brand worldwide, with a range of cult products to boot. Oh, and Soare is the only lady Victoria Beckham allows to touch her eyebrows. Praise indeed.
